Privacy Policy

What we collect

MSRPGuide (a Settle Oak Media property) is designed to answer a question, not to collect your data. We gather only what a page genuinely needs:

• Email (only if you sign up): we run a small newsletter list, so if you subscribe we keep the email you gave us.
• Lead form data: if we ever offer a cost-quote form, the name, phone, ZIP, and project details you submit are used solely to connect you with a contractor or service partner for that project, with your consent, and are handled under the consent language shown on the form.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to see which pages are useful. That sends anonymized usage data and may set cookies.
• Server basics: standard web logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and performance — like almost every site on the internet.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't build advertising profiles of individual readers.
• We don't share your data except as needed to run the site: email delivery for the newsletter, analytics, and — only for lead-form submissions, with consent — the service partner matching your request.

Some links on MSRPGuide are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. A link being affiliate never changes a ranking or a price figure on this site — the data comes first, always.

Cookies

We use GA4 cookies for aggregate analytics. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fine without them.

Your choices

• Newsletter: every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe; or email contact@settleoak.com and we'll remove you.
• Deletion: ask us to delete the data we hold about you and we'll do it within 30 days, subject to keeping whatever we're legally required to keep.
